Women's History Month is the annual celebration of the accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history. It takes place during the month of March and serves as a time to recognize and honor the role of women in society.

Can you fluently read, write, speak and listen in a language other than English? If you are a student in grades 7 - 12, you can earn up to 4 high school credits in a world language. North Kitsap School District is proud to offer the Seal of Biliteracy and Language Credit Competency Testing.

The North Kitsap School District Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Barbara Waggoner to fill the Director District 5 vacancy on Thursday, September 22, 2022, during the regular school board meeting. Waggoner took the oath of office October 13, with Poulsbo Mayor Becky Erickson presiding.

Both KHS and NKHS were named Best High Schools in the U.S. again this year, according to U.S. News and World Report 2022 Best U.S. High Schools! Data for nearly 24,000 high schools in the U.S. and 718 schools in Washington was reviewed this year. Check out the results!
