Application process

UPDATE for Credit Recovery and Initial Credit:

Due to the higher than usual requests for credit recovery courses this year we are closely monitoring class participation during the first week of the summer program. Students who do not begin classes during the first week of the program will be dropped which may allow for additional enrollment. If you have not previously completed registration, we recommend you download the application and bring a printed copy with you on the day scheduled for your graduation year. You will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified of openings during the week of July 11-15. Wait listed students enrolled will be given an end date of Aug 17th to allow for the late start.

Credit Recovery Enrollment

• Available online beginning May 2, 2022
• Must be completed online
• Printed, signed by a parent/guardian and submitted to student’s counselor for review and signature
• Counselor verifies that the student has signed up for correct class
• Completed applications submitted to Counseling Office for class enrollment

All students who are Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors during the 2021-22 school year, and have failed/NC one or more terms of a course prior to the Spring Semester 2021-2022 will need to sign up by June 17, 2022.

Any students who fail a Spring Term course will be allowed to enroll in person with a high school counselor on the first two days of the summer term - July 6 and 7.

Enrollment will be closed to everyone at 12:30 PM on July 7, 2022.

Initial Credit Enrollment

• Enrollment starts May 2, 2022
• Complete application online (Same summer school application)
• Printed, signed by parent or guardian, course(s) verified and signed by counselor
• Pay at High School ASB window ($250.00 per semester course)
• Application and Receipt to enrollment registrar at building (TBD) for final enrollment

Initial credit enrollment ends on June 17, 2022. Application will be available May 2, 2022. 

Additional information

ALL Students must attend a meeting with the summer school staff on July 6th and 7th at the North Kitsap High School Computer Lab 500.

Students need to arrive at their scheduled time in order to log in to their enrolled course (s) and ensure they know how to navigate the Fuel Ed program.
