Welcome to our classroom Website! Since I will be teaching your children, I decided that it is important for me to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in the Woodinville, Washington. I grew up on a small farm, where we had cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and horses. I grew up showing dogs and horses. I have an amazing family that means the world to me!
Teaching has been my career choice from the age of eight. Upon my high school graduation I went to college to fulfill my lifelong passion of teaching. In the winter of 1997 I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor's degree in Education and in 2004 I received my Masters Degree from Walden University. This is my tenth year at PMS.
On the home front I have a fabulous seven year old son, Toby, that loves anything sports related and is looking forward starting second grade. My daughter is now grown, married and living the life of a grown up.
I look forward to our year together!
My mission is to empower students to succeed every day of their lives. I will encourage them to establish high expectations for themselves, instill a sense of responsibility, and develop positive relationships by honoring them with respect, understanding, and compassion.
