Earth Steward Club members have an interest in their environment, enjoy learning about natural resources, and have fun getting outdoors to explore life in our forests, streams, and Salish Sea.

Stewards work with other community organizations to help with restoration efforts focused on repairing damage to our forests and streams. Stewards also participate in yearly International Coastal Clean-Up and other smaller Clean-Up activities throughout the year.

Thus far our environmental exploration has taken us to Kitsap Memorial State Park, Liberty Bay, Otto Jarstad Park, Fish Park, Port Gamble Heritage Park, Point No Point Light House, Norwegian County Park, Grover Creek Preserve, Wild & Scenic Film Festival, and the Sea Discovery Center. Earth Stewards also enjoy Expert Guest Speakers throughout the year.

Earth Stewards meet from October to June each year. Members participate in 2 Tuesday meetings and 1 Saturday Outdoor Field Experience each month. We have occasionally participated in two community events in the same month.

Please contact Marlene Keltner or Cindy Nausid to join or if you would like further information.

Kind regards,
